Loot Crate: Subscription Box for Geeks & Gamers

Loot Crate: Subscription Box for Geeks & Gamers

Loot Crate is a monthly subscription box for geeks and gamers. You get a mystery box filled with about 6-8 geeky goods delivered to you every month, and each box has a theme.

Update 1/17/2020:
Back in the day Loot Crate was great, unfortunately that all changed a few years ago. These days the crates take MONTHS to be delivered (if you get them at all). Then when you finally get your crate you may have items missing, and you will definitely have items from past crates, instead of new things. They have gone downhill, and no longer care about their customers. We no longer recommend Loot Crate.

It’s like getting a gift each and every month. Sure you bought it for yourself, but it’s still an awesome surprise! This really was so much fun to get, I loved everything in the crate, and I feel like it’s well worth the money. If there’s ever anything in the crate you’re not thrilled about, you could always gift it to someone you know who would like it. Also, every month lucky subscribers get the chance to win a “Mega-Crate” worth $750+.

A subscription to Loot Crate is $13.37 a month, plus $6 s/h. The items in the box seem to be valued over $30. There are usually 2 ‘large’ items (examples: t-shirt, vinyl figure, plushie, book), and the rest are smaller, fun things (buttons, stickers, PEZ dispenser, etc).

I definitely recommend getting Loot Crate for yourself, or as a gift for the geek in your life (you could sign them up for a 3 month plan, total price: $55.11).

For a while now I have watched the unboxings on YouTube, and would see all the cool stuff, but it wasn’t until recently that I got the chance to check it out for myself!

I was super excited when I found the Loot Crate in my mailbox yesterday, and I could not wait to open it! Unfortunately I did wait…because I wanted to unbox it on camera. Oh, the agony of waiting, but I finally did open it up, and I loved all the goodies!

Do you want to see all the neat things that I got in this months crate (October 2013)? Make sure to check out my unboxing video:
