October 2014 Loot Crate: Fear

October 2014 Loot Crate: Fear

The first Loot Crate I received was one year ago, the October 2013 crate, the theme was Survive. Then I was instantly hooked on the monthly subscription service. This October the theme is “Fear”, let’s take a look inside, and see what goodies this crate had for us!

Inside October’s Loot Crate:

Death By Kitten T-shirt – This shirt isn’t exactly one I’m crazy about, but it’s still a pretty neat t-shirt, and I know a lot of people are loving it. I mean… Cats… Creepy cats in a skull form…. I might be a bit scared.

Sledgesaw Hammer Pen – A Loot Crate exclusive from Capcom’s Dead Rising 3 video game. When I first took this out of the crate I had no idea it was a pen, and when the top came off I thought I broke it. But hey, PEN, which can also pass as a neat decoration!

How to Survive a Sharknado and Other Unnatural Disasters – I can’t wait to check out this book, it looks to be pretty entertaining. And I can always use a good survival book, it could come in hand.

The Walking Dead #132 – With an exclusive cover just for LootCrate! I haven’t read the Walking Dead comics, but have always intended to. This one will look nice on my wall with some of my other favorite comics.

Oh, Brother Art Print – Aw, poor Daryl. Neat little print, will have to find a spot for this in the office.

Slashes & Bites Tattoos – I don’t have a costume for Halloween this year, so maybe I can put these tattoos to good use.

Smite Gift Card – with this code you can unlock Thantos, and exclusive Jack the Reaper Skin.

There was also a pair of 3D glasses inside this months crate to go along with their magazine, which was printed in 3D!

Overall a really neat crate this month. Maybe not my favorite one ever, but I still like it, and will enjoy the items I received!

Loot Crate is great as a treat for yourself, or a present for the geek/gamer in your life. It’s a lot of fun receiving a mystery package in the mail each month! There is a $40 retail value in every crate, and they only cost $13.37 (+s/h). Subscribers also have the chance to win a mega crate each month, that has a value of $750+.
