Movies of the Season 2020

As I sat here drinking Dragons Blood (Fireball and Cranberry juice), a festive drink, I was suddenly in the mood for a holiday movie. That led me to Hulu & Netflix to see what they had to offer, and as I kept digging I lost the desire to watch a holiday movie, but not the desire to keep drinking.

I discovered something in my Holiday movie search: 90% of them are romance, with at least half of those being about a prince or princess, 30% are for kids, and 5% for the random stuff. Don’t question the numbers, I’m sure they are accurate.

In the end I decided to write a post about Holiday movies that came out this year. The only problem is… I haven’t seen any of these, I haven’t even watched trailers for them. I’m just mostly going on the thumbnail, or title, that initially drew my attention.

This is all very scientific. Trust me.

Christmas Crossfire:
A man foils an attempted murder, then flees the crew of would-be killers along with their intended target as a women he’s just met tried to find him.

Why I picked it: Not gonna lie, mostly for the title.

Jingle Jangle A Christmas Story:
Decades after his trusted apprentice betrayed him, a once joyful toy maker finds new hope when his kind and curious granddaughter comes into his life.

Why I picked it: It looks/sounds cute.

Dolly Parton’s Christmas on the Square:
Seasonal cheer comes to a screeching halt when a cold hearted woman tries to sell her hometown land. Can music, magic, and memories change her mind?

Why I picked it: Dolly Parton.

Okay, so I only came up with three movies that drew my attention, that means they are the only ones worth watching, that came out this year. Happy Holiday Viewing!
